Our Company is one of North America's largest architectural glass & aluminum fabricators and distributors, with many locations nationwide. We are currently seeking Production Loaders to work at our City of Industry, California location. Job Description:

Large-scale glass fabrication facility seeking an individual to assist production team in the polishing of specialty cut glass that ranges in pattern and design. Members in this department deliver glass panels from production line and prepare them for fabrication and polishing in order to deliver finished product.

 

 

Duties include:

 

  • Working as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn new skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Following instruction and having a keen attention to detail
  • Perform as duties are assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Must follow all safety practices and training.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Must have good hand-to-eye coordination
  • Requires gripping and lifting thin material (such as glass) on a regular basis.
  • Must have the ability to operate specialized production equipment for the purpose of transferring finished glass units such as hoists, cranes, etc.
  • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven manufacturing environment.
  • At all times, must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including (but not limited to) steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, and protective pullover in an environment which can be hot/cold, humid, and/or dusty.

 

*Glass experience is preferred but not required.
