Job Description

Purpose

To secure and preserve lien and bond rights for the company utilizing the mechanics lien processes and procedures in place.  The Lien Analyst will perform a thorough analysis of accounts to secure and preserve lien and bond rights and will respond to customers promptly with appropriate information and documentation to support the decision of our ability to provide the appropriate lien waiver.  This position requires high attention to detail and advanced oral and written communication skills as the responses contribute to building stronger business relationships.  Due to the volume and expected fast turnaround of requests, advanced organizational skills are also required.   

 

Essential Functions

  • Utilizes ticketing system to obtain and respond to requests
  • Reviews multiple accounts in detail to ensure accurate information is being provided
  • Determines the appropriate lien waiver to provide based upon received and discovered information
  • Provides accurate and pleasant responses to requests through email and various mail avenues in a professional manner upholding the company’s expectations of high customer service
  • Adjusts planned tasks as needed to accommodate unexpected priority items throughout the work day
  • Anticipates questions or issues and takes proactive steps to answer or prevent delays or problems

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required; Associates Degree in Business or related field is preferred, two years related experience a plus
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced organizational skills; must be able to multi-task while also being aware of critical details for accuracy
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus
  • Legal/Law Office experience strongly preferred; commercial construction lien knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to accept and make adjustments in response to constructive suggestions for successful performance
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment while effectively performing with minimal supervision
  • Advanced Customer Service skills
  • Capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance
  • Able to perform the duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass criminal background check and initial and random drug/alcohol screenings
  • Must have a valid state issued driver’s license
