Job Description

Quality Manager

 

•         Maintaining Customer Quality Satisfaction through developing, establishing and Implementing QA Programs and Practices and engaging all employees to achieve these objectives.

 

•         Evaluate current processes, procedures, raw materials, in-process materials, environmental conditions and finished products to determine quality levels and compliance with industry standards.

 

•         Establish a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in critical areas of manufacturing to maximize our efficiency, productivity, quality and profitability.

 

•         Monitor, Investigate and Evaluate non-conforming product quality to determine corrective action applicable to the quality standard of the products.

 

•         Supervise and maintain the quality of sample products or Prototypes that goes to potential customers.

 

•         Auditing and recording non-conforming materials and validating on-hand supply inventory.

 

•        Co-ordinate all Certification and Re-certification programs through SGCC/IGCC for new and existing Products.

•         

 

                                     

 

Supervises Quality Personnel and conveys Branch Management expectations and direction. Responsibilities include: training, directing, and motivating assigned employees.

 

Education and/or Experience:

Four year degree desirable  3-5 years’ experience in quality management

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, fractions,  proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

                                                   

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 Computer Skills                                           

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
